Water Heater Repair & Replacement

Tank and tankless, gas and electric. Serving Atlanta and the surrounding areas.

Most water heaters last 8 to 12 years. We repair units that are worth repairing and replace the ones that are not. Tank and tankless, gas and electric.

What we do

Sizing

We size the heater on the number of bathrooms and the household's hot water use, not on square footage.

Permits

Water heater replacement requires a permit in most counties we work in. We pull it under our license and meet the inspector. Expansion tanks and correctly rated relief valves are included in the quote.

Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

Every repair and installation we perform carries a lifetime warranty on our workmanship. If a joint we soldered leaks, a fixture we set works loose, or a line we ran fails because of how it was installed, we come back and fix it at no charge for as long as you own the home.

Equipment and materials carry their own manufacturer warranties. We register those for you and leave the paperwork with you.

All work is done to Georgia plumbing code. We quote the full price before starting, and the invoice matches the quote.

Common Questions

How long does a water heater replacement take?

A straightforward tank swap is usually three to four hours. Tankless installations and conversions take longer, often a full day, because the gas line and venting frequently need work.

Do you install tankless water heaters?

Yes. Converting from tank to tankless usually needs a larger gas line and new venting, which costs more than a like-for-like tank swap. The quote covers the whole job.

My water heater is leaking. What should I do?

Shut off the water supply to the heater. If it is electric, cut the breaker. Then call us. A leaking tank has failed and will not seal back up.

What brands do you install?

We install standard trade brands and will go through the options with you.
